Silver Hill Hospital Presents 'The Odd Couple': Sold Out Hit Broadway Show Helps Raise Money for Local Mental Health Facility
New Canaan, CT (ContentDesk) September 10, 2005 -- Silver Hill Hospital is pleased to announce the launch of a capital campaign to restore and rebuild some of the original buildings that represent the true heart and soul of its campus.
To kick off the campaign, Scott Nederlander, one of the producers of the hit Broadway show, "The Odd Couple," has designated Saturday evening, October 29th as the "Silver Hill Theatrical Night to Remember." The much anticipated production of the classic comedy "The Odd Couple," had the highest first day ticket sales of any Broadway play in history.
The new production brings together the Tony Award-winning talents of Neil Simon, Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and Joe Mantello for a magical evening of theatre.
With all performances already sold out, Silver Hill's exclusive October 29th performance, on the first Saturday night of the show, is in very high demand.
As a thank-you to those who contribute $2,500 or more to Silver Hill Hospital's capital campaign, donors will receive two tickets to the performance.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASENew York, NY -- November 22, 2003Lead Actor Takes Reprieve From RENTActor/singer Ryan Link, who has been playing "Roger Davis" in the Broadway company of the hit rock musical RENT since September, announced today he is taking a medical leave from the show.
Citing vocal health issues, including "recurrent laryngitis, hoarseness and pre-nodular edema", Link has reached an agreement with the production team to "suspend and extend" his contract, and will resume performances on January 4, 2004.
